As to be expected, they have already patched the beta client, and as more and more people get in, download speeds are slow. See you all in the "Pits of Zardock" realm. Where us Chaos, will reign some violence down upon thee, with furious anger! And you will know my name is the.......
With the launch of the open beta slated for this weekend (September 7th to be exact). I know I've talked to quite a few of you on the subject of WAR, some of whom are already in the closed beta, and others whom like myself are waiting for the open beta to begin. What are your thoughts/opinions on the game thus far? What makes it good? What makes it bad?
I'll be getting us WAR forums up today so we have a centralized place to chat about the game. But for now I just wanted to hear some thoughts about it so far. I know myself cannot wait, as I strongly believe this is the game I've been waiting for, for quite some time. I've personally used to play the "workshop games" Warhammer way back in the day, but it required some time to play. I think that most agree that this is where blizzard conjured their ideas about warcraft. Who knows to be certain. However if the table game has anything to say about the software version... This game is going to be packed with more things to do then anticipated or has been seen thus far. Only time will tell.
The warhammer open beta begins this weekend, September 7th! Grab your weapons of choice because it's about to get messy!
Today is the big day that Mozilla will be releasing firefox 3.0! Along with that they're attempting to set new world records today for the most downloaded software within 24 hours. If your not a firefox user, your not truly surfing the web. Click the banner to find out more.
After weeks of preparation, tournaments, and a couple of pick ups team Violentricity is entering their first week of actual competition. A powerful performance in preseason bumped us into CAL-Main. Along with Main we will be playing CEVO and another tournament in TGL. The roster as of now is:
I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and a great new year. Enjoy the time with your families and all the joy it brings. I hope everyone is having a good time and things going their way this year. Merry Christmas everyone!
With the return of the Call of Duty franchise comes the return of Team Violentricity. We’ve been slowly gathering around this game and now we’re proud to announce the current Call of Duty 4 division:
We’re looking into adding one more person to fill out the roster and we'll be heading into competition starting with the CEVO tournament. Good luck and have fun!
It's time to kick off the dust and start whiping out the arsenal, cause the violence spreads yet again! With a nice chunk of our members having acquired Enemy Territory: Quake Wars beta keys, it's only apparent that the violence must go on! We'll continue to practice and progress with the ET:QW community together as we get set for the games offical release come October.
We look forwward to catching up with some old faces and new ones as we get set for some good ole ET smackdown!

I just wanted to apologize for the extended server downtime this evening. I had to perform some maintenance on the box, as well as change some settings to allow for better system resource usage. By doing so, it enables us to have a better uptime rate from this day forth.
The server is now back online. Remember you can always check the server status @ http://violentricity.servegame.org. If you are unable to connect to the webpage, the server is most likely down.
I'll be sure to give proper warning when having an extensive downtime like this in the future. However, I don't think that will happen again anytime soon. I will be doing weekly reboots to keep resource usage at a minimum.
As of now all servers are once again live and running smoothly. Thanks for supporting us, and we hope to have your continued support in making our own wow community!
Well we decided to try something a bit different and have some fun of our own. So we've decided to launch our own private wow server. I posted instructions on how to register your accounts and join the server in the wow public forums here. In order to play on our server all you need is a copy of the wow client and the burning crusade expansion. You DO NOT need to be a current subscriber or have an online account.
